As part of the new construction of Marriott International’s Moxy Portland Downtown hotel, the Oregon division of Dynalectric Company (Dynalectric Oregon) reviewed electrical systems, identifying prefabrication opportunities that would help improve the installation method for all systems throughout the building.
Client Objectives
As the developer and owner, Graves Hospitality was building a new Moxy hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon, one of a boutique line of Marriott International hotels. They needed electrical system solutions throughout the building.
Solutions
Dynalectric Oregon prefabricated electrical kits for all 197 guestrooms prior to installing electrical systems. We also design-built and fully modeled our electrical solutions; coordinating with the architect, general contractor, and trades using the latest REVIT software.
Client Background
The Moxy Portland Downtown hotel is a 12-story, 197-room hotel offering trendy private and communal spaces, a state-of-the-art gym, bar and lounge area, and three indoor food vendor spaces.
